Excited! Just ordered Chicks from Ideal.

I shove them under (gently) like a momma hen gathering them up and they go under and fall asleep. I would check the height after they are under. It has to be low enough that they have to bend over a little to get under there. If it isn't they will be too cold when they lay down.

The heat plate is the right height and is nice and warm.
2 chicks look "out of it" and wobbly.
The other ones are thriving and running around luke normal.

1 wobbly chick died this morning.
The other wobbly chick is somehow holding on even though it doesn't walk at all.
It just lays down or squats.
I gave it Nutri Drench and tried hand feeding it.

7 healthy chicks so far and I hope none of them die.

I'm sorry to hear you lost some chicks. Im glad the others are healthy and doing well!
