Expected egg production?

What is the typical egg production for the BLRW? Size? Color? I have 4 BLRW from Dunlap Hatchery in Nampa, Idaho. I love developing plumage, but would also like to know what to anticipate for eggs...

All Wyandottes lay large brown eggs and in the neighborhood of 200 a year.

Sometimes there are differences in traits between varieties. But for the most part breed characteristics, especially shape, is consistent among all breed varieties. Basically breed is shape, variety is color.

With some breeds, there's a difference in size between varieties. Black Penedesencas are larger than the other 3 varieties. With Minorcas, blacks are the largest, followed by whites and lastly buffs.

Egg laying characteristics; size, number and hue can vary dramatically between lines of the same breed and variety.
Polish can be excellent layers or poor layers.
Dark egg layers like Marans, Penedesencas, Welsummers and Barnevelders - if not selected and bred well can lose the dark egg color quickly.
Layers of large eggs can also lose egg size if not selected well.

Agreed. I typically got 3-4 large, brown eggs per day per hen from my Wyandottes.
