oh, wow!
No wonder you're a little concerned!
I'd be a little worried, too. I still wouldn't intervene just yet.
Coronation sussex are pretty. I saw some hatching eggs for sale on ebay a while back... but I couldn't dream of paying that much for eggs.
My husband would NOT be pleased.
LOL!
Post some pics when they hatch. I'd like to see your roo, too!
Good luck!

I have, on occassion taken a bamboo skewer and turned and egg through the little holes in a bator. I am not saying you should just saying what I have done.

thank's, the little roo i have is in my avy...not a good pic of him but it's the best i have at the moment. Thanks for all the support guy's, i must admit i did try and move the egg with a plastic tubing i use to put water in without opening. I got the pip area to move upwards just a hair, enough to where i could make out which direction he decides to zip in. I know im a bad hatcher for doing that lol!!!! I just had to do something to help him out or i was gonna LOSE IT! The pip fell off from the egg " by the chick, not myself" and now all i can see is the membrane. I can't tell if he has broke it or not but i hope he has, im worried he's not getting enough air

As long as you did not open the lid to move it I would not worry about it. I have lost chicks that pipped on the backside before so I think you did what you needed to do, main thing is keep the lid closed.

i can see his beak moving the membrane around and a small pin hole that he has poked through, i don't think this is enough air for him..but for 3 and 1/2 hour in I still want to give him a little more time.

There's enough air, he's moving around isn't he? Don't be a nervous Nelly, step away and breathe, try to take your mind off of the whole thing. The longer you stand there and fret, the worse on you it will be. Everything will be fine. It takes them a while to get to zippin, they get tired and have to take breaks, just don't panic. Oh and BTW, I am gonna really need some of those eggs or chicks LOL!!!!

thank you...it's a constant moveing..its like he will slide his beak across the membrane then the membrain goes flat again. Then he just keeps repeating this over and over again. I cannot see 100% of his beak, just the tiny tip, but he is moving his beak constantly.
