I bought my hens Grubbly Farms layer feed. I have never seen them so excited! Does anyone have any experience with this type of feed? Any laying issues or crop issues?

This stuff is great and all of a sudden all 14 chickens like me. It has seeds in it and I am curious how they will do with their crops.View attachment 2352342
I was wondering about this feed and just found the ingredients list. I've been feeding my girls an all grain feed and noticed they pick through it for their favorite bits. Now that we've had a bunch of rain the seed flicked out on the ground has begun to sprout and there's allot of it! Nice bonus is fresh greens I guess. This feed is part grain and part pellets. Might work well?
It comes in 30 pound and I think 60. I bought 2 30 pound bags and it came to 70. I think to reduce cost maybe if I mix it with the dumor layer they will get the best of both worlds.I'm thinking most feeds are mostly either wheat or corn but yours appears to be green peas. That must be the difference. How much does a 50# bag of that feed cost?
It is. But boy are they happy. I just don’t think 70 a month is going to work thoughI figured it would be expensive.
