Experiences with heated waterers

Hi, I ended up using a 20W cable as that was the only thing I could find. It works fine to about -2C, after which it's totally worthless. The idea isn't bad though, so with a bit of insulation around the waterer, and maybe a 120W cable it would actually work. I'll probably make some modifications at some point when I get to it. It hasn't been very high on the list right now since we've had chicks in the coop and have had to keep it above freezing anyway.
