one of the obstacles is turning them, I suppose you could tilt the cups but that could compromise the yolks
I am wondering if it would even be necessary to turn the eggs when they are out of the shell? They can't get stuck to the membrane because it is gone and malpositioning in the shell is no longer a problem either, because they won't have to break down the shell to get out... So have to ask, are you turning the eggs?

That's what I was wondering!

To be honest the first 4 look questionable and sort of like some eggs that I've opened during eggtopsies but the 5th might have a chance. Yes I read that turning the eggs prevent the embryo from being squished from the yolk- not sure how valid that is either.

Ok soooo...it looks like 1-4 have stopped developing....but number 5 I can see moving....so cool. #1-4 are out of my daughters beloved PET chicken and in 4 years we have only successfully hatched one of her eggs so they probably were not the best choice of eggs to use. Sorry for no update last night...ya know....life and stuff
