Extra food suggestions?

Those are good as treats, but feeding your chicks just berries for a week isn't going to make for very happy chicks. They need protein.

I gave them a few as treats

Went to the store and bought Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries. The chicks were a little confused but I'm sure they'll eat them.

I have a question. I called Wilco to ask about some tools and I decided to ask for what chick feed that they may have available. They said that a bunch of 5lb bags of Purina Start & Grow came in earlier in the morning. They don't have anything else.
Would I be about to buy that for now?

Well, it's chick feed, and you currently have no chick feed. So I'd say that, yes, you should go and buy that.

Walked over and bought it along with a bag of oyster shells for our hens. Got them cheaper because of the sale today
