Extremely small Cornish cross at 5 weeks

Maybe a white plymouth rock instead of a cornish cross.

Definately NOT a Cornish cross.

White Rock, Leghorn, or sex link or hybrid cross (Leghorn x ?) or the hatchery brand of egg production.

Looks pullet to me.

Here are some more pics. I think you guys are right with the White Rock. I had my kids with me when I was in the store, and I asked for cornish cross, and thought they know what are they doing!
Anyway, this thing still seems to grow much faster then my golden sex link. Will I be able to use it as a meat chicken after maybe 12 weeks?

And miss out on having a really great laying hen? If it's a roo, you can eat it then, but if it's a hen, I suggest you keep her...one of my favorite breeds for laying, hardiness and mothering skills.

The problem is not about having a great laying hen. I already have 5 of them. The problem is that I am running out of space. Only small suburban backyard here, and the goal was to have CX for testing the way I want to raise them...
