Eye infection????

Could one of the drake got hold of her? sometimes they are very gentlemanly with their mating.

I really have no clue. My drakes really don't mate much. One doesn't at all. We were gone literally all day! Of course something has to happen the day you aren't home!!!

Well lets hope a good cleaning up with some type of eye ointment will do the trick. Veterycin is a great product.

I agree with K check her out real good tomorrow.

Bahahaha! I often wonder! Im actually thinking of seperating my 2 drakes, and putting my 2 khaki babies in with the rest of my girls once they get bigger bc my 2 males really do prefer to just do their own thing away from everyone.

That may stir the pot up a bit, I couldn't imagine separating my drakes together. they tear each other apart. Are they Pekins? all I hear is how they are the breed non stop drakes.

I had seperated them last year with short fence when the babies hatched and they didn't care, as long as they had a pool to be lazy in lol. They were raised together before I had got anymore. Dunno yet. Might not need to seperate anyone. Find out once the new babies get older. I have plenty of room for different options.

I checked over the duck this morning, good news is it's not as bad as it looked yest. Red around the lid. Put in extra pools this morning, and she washed herself pretty good. She managed to get a pool to herself. Gonna run and get eye stuff today. How long should I treat her for???

a day after she gets well would work. Try vigamox that's for humans very effective. More less like $40

:( here I am talking about how laid back my 2 drakes are. When I went outside earlier the girl with the eye issue walked by one of my drakes and he started biting at the side of her face, and then she ran away from him and hid :(

They can surprise us.  You may have found a reason for her injury, then?

I'm gonna assume it was him, she ran and hid like had her head in a corner protecting it, that kinda tells me that it has happened before for her to do that???? I just don't know what to do now if he continues???
