Eye Injury

I let my girls out into their run today and noticed one of my Ameraucanas was shying away from the other hens. I scooped her up and her eye was shut and a little bloody. I am guessing that she was pecked and now has an injured eye. I sprayed the eye with veterycin (which is why she looks wet in the photos) and have put her in her own coop for now. She seems a little unsure about how to navigate with just one eye open, but otherwise she seems energetic. Any other ideas on addressing her eye? Are hens able to heal from something like this?

Chickens heal from horrible predators attack wounds.
This is nothing compared to some i have seen.
I don't mean nothing as in she isn't hurt, but given time she will heal.
Keeping her away from the flock until she heals is a great idea!

You can flush the eye with saline to remove any debris. Vetericyn eye gel is very good for eye injuries.
If she is having trouble navigating, she may do better being placed in a kennel inside the run. This will allow her to heal and have her own food/water. Let her out at night to roost with the flock.
