We have about 14 month Black Astralorp. She is eating normally, pooping normally, laying, and none of our other 9 chickens have anything wrong with them except this one’s eye. I’m thinking it may be an injury, maybe someone pecked her? We’ve had all the birds since 1 day old and she wasn’t like this until about a week ago. At least that’s when we first noticed it. She does seem to have a little trouble seeing things, even like the gate or posts of the coop as she tends to run into thing a little more than the others. But behaviorally and biologically she seems to be normal, except her eye looks weird to me. Any idea what this may be?

Is the pupil of this eye the same color as the other? It looks to be a bit blue/grey?

Any other symptoms like coughing, sneezing, mucous, etc.?

You can try flushing the eye with saline and applying an eye ointment like Terramycin to the eye twice a day, to see if there's improvement.
Being sunken and what looks like some swelling, she may have respiratory illness like Mycoplasma, but the color is interesting.
