Eye Swollen Shut, multiple chickens affected, help!!

I just talked to a supplier that told me Tylan50 is on permanent backorder from the manufacturer due to ingredients not being allowed into the US.

I am not in California, I realize the one I was looking at was just for CA residents.

If I get that powder, will they get enough of it?

Any kind of Tylan is fine. The problem is that the powder has been sold out in some of the online stores due to Tylan 50 being hard to find. I would prefer to use the Tylan powder in the water, but the 200 can be given orally.

doh! Your state is in your profile, but for some reason I still though you were in CA:oops:
I agree with @Eggcessive I would use the powdered Tylan, but the 200 is o.k. it's just harder to dose. Either one will work.

Thank you, I will look there again! How long is it good for? I haven't bought any of the other forms of it as she turned the curve and is doing so well now. But I would like to buy it and have it on hand.
Her eye is open to almost normal, she closes it at times to rest it, guess its sore after all that junk was in it. I'm assuming she got dirt or something in it and then it just got infected really bad, I cannot believe the pus that I got out of her eye!
I do not think the eye issue had anything to do with losing the polish. She went down hill so fast, I think it may have been something major internally wrong. But for now, everyone seems healthy, and no one else has had any eye issues.
Here is a pic of her :love 20190902_165334.jpg
