*Eyes Of The Phoenix* A Wild Chicken RP

Toad looked up into her eyes once more, till there was darkness. (He slipped into unconsciousness.)
“Toad.” She nudged him. “Toad! Oh, you idiot. Okay.” She looked around. “Rose, Fern! Help me move him.”
They pulled him to a shaded hole in the burrows, where sunlight still reached, but he’d be safe from harm at night. Eerie busied herself making him a padded nest of soft plants and patting moss into his wounds. Once she was satisfied, she looked around for the other wounded chicken she cared about. Jay.

“Jay.” She approached the hen, who was standing far away from the flock. “Jay.”
She looked deep into her friend’s eyes. The depth of horror there…what had she seen?
“Jay, what happened?”

Jay stared numbly back, what had happened, she thought dumbly. Then all the memories came rushing back to her. "There was this hen," She croaked out at last. She thought about how to explain it, "She had no idea about the horrors Blaze had done before she had met with him." She started, but her voice wavered. and she gasped in pain.

Eerie grabbed some damp moss in her beak and started cleaning Jay’s wounds. “It’s okay. Tell me what happened. What did the hen say?”

Jay felt the soothing wet moss soak into her wounds. "Before she had got there, Blaze had already met with someone before." She continued her story. "It was a big ugly rooster with a crooked beak and a frost bit comb, he had scars all over his legs and face. He also was missing his tail feathers. They were talking about death." Jay felt herself stiffen with fear. "Blaze wants to destroy all of the flocks." Jay finished in a whisper.

“We need to tell Snowberry. Now.” Said Eerie.
