Jay eyed him nervously, (she had trust issues before). Screw it, she thought to herself. "I was following a trail of blood, when I came upon a clearing with two roosters in it. One was seriously ugly and the other was Blaze. And, " He voice wavered, but she pulled on, "And the were talking about death." She said lowering her voice. "They are going to destroy the flocks."Snowberry dropped down form his perch in the elm tree and walked up to Jay. “Not here.” He decided.
They walked a little ways into the forest, stopping in a flower-filled clearing. It was quite calming. Eerie, who was there as support for Jay, settled down near Jay while Snowberry sat opposite of her. “Now, Jay, tell me what you saw.”
Snowberry started back. “Destroy the flocks? What in the name of eggs?!”Jay eyed him nervously, (she had trust issues before). Screw it, she thought to herself. “Where was the blood coming from, Jay?” She asked.

Jay nodded sadly.“He ATE it?” Shrieked Eerie.
"It was a female, not even a two days old," Jay whispered, "I still can't get her screams out of my head..."“Wait. What gender what the chick?” Asked Eerie, a theory bubbling to mind.
