Gail was vaguely aware of shapes, before passing out again.

The cars surged upwards in a long line. The road was narrow and windy, which slowed their progress, but bit by bit they were gaining on the summit.
The news helicopter was visible in the distance.

"The air, too?!" Galieth mumbled, slightly agrivated. He blocked off the cars' path with the boulders.

The cars honked angrily from behind the barrier, while their drivers got out and continued the last few metres on foot, talking into phone to their relatives.

Suddenly, something seemed to happen to Gail. She wasn't conscious just yet, but something appeared to be coming out of her, and the entire crowd fell silent.
The helicopter vanished, as if it had been blasted away.

"Yes all!" He shouted "They are filming it! The whole world os going to find out!"

"Not if we can get the cameras away." Galieth replied with a slight flicker in his eyes.

Galieth blinked. "Gail? What just happened?" He swiped his tail gently across the crowd, knocking most of the phones to the ground.

Gail didn't move. She was silent, breathing very softly.

The crowd started to stumble backwards, chattering frantically among themselves as they reached for their phones.
But they never got very far, something appeared to be pushing them back with great force.

Cars began sliding down the mountain.

He shook his head "There are too many, if someone escaped and told the world we were killers they would try and kill us all!"
