Hmmm... okay, maybe I should cut the round-about talk and say straight out what I wanted.

The news reporters had just arrived, having been tipped off by members of the crowd. However, one started yelling, "Something's interfering with my transmissions! I can't get ANYTHING through!!" she was frantic, as the station was waiting for her report.
"There seems to be some kind of magnetic interference..."

The other members of the crowd also started panicking as they lost reception in their phones. They had managed to get a few words out to their relatives, but of course nobody believed them. The discovery was confined only to that group of peple, about thirty of them.

Jasper glared fiercly at her, the trees bending under the wieght of his anger "Sure, drive them away, it wont do any good now. The damage has been done, they have videos of you, the people and the news reporters, pictures too." He said, his voice strangly quiet, yet pulsing with fury.
