The dragon picked up the human, snapped his gun in half, passed the broken machine to Gail and tossed the human into a ditch on the side of the mountain. "Bug off!" she yelled.

The human shot at her and followed, the rope in throwing position. He tossed it, finally getting the hatchling. He tried to pull him away from Geralda.
