"Lovely." he said, his frill flaring and his head slowly nodding in satisfaction. "I'm next," said a chilling voice from behind her, as a shadow was cast over her, one of a very large dragon. He was a deep gray-violet with a mane of ivory, and with quills and sharp-ended scales covering his body like armour, with large, tattered wings that hung low behind him. His eyes were a sharp ice-blue that seemed to eerily glow.

Fear watched out of slight amusement.

Fear watched out of slight amusement.

She spun around in surprise, dropping to the floor in obedience. Grabbing her rock she crawled towards him and took one of his feet in his wings. This dragons foot was even dirtier then the last one and she struggled to get it clean and sharp, the process taking quite a bit longer then the last dragon. Her teeth were stained black with dirt by the time she had finished one foot, and she was trembling with exhaustion. She reached wearily for another foot, dragging her tongue over the claws to get the dirt off before setting to work with the rock. Once his claws were good and sharp she stepped back, not meeting his eyes, and bowed down to him as a sigh of submission.

He nodded what could be percieved as a sign of grattitude. "Hey, not bad!" said Venom, giving her an ornery shove, but not knowing his own strength against such a little dragon nearly bowled her over.

Fear looked at her and cocked his head slightly with a grin touching his cheeks, "How about you work your magic on me next, sweetheart?" asked Fear. All of the dragons' faces were plastered with amused expressions as they looked intently at the little dragoness, their expectant gaze an attempt to persuade and pressure her into approaching the frightening dragon.

She coughed she bumped into the cave wall after Vemon's shove. She swallowed nervously, grabbed her rock and inched over to Fear, not getting more then a few inches off the cave floor. Her wings shook as she walked and she forced herself to move closer. Once she was within a small distance from the massive dragon she reached out for his foot, keeping her gaze low to the floor.

He looked down, his spiny brows raised as the little thing trembled. His foot was heavy with the weight of his claws, which were quite long and thick.

She knelt down and rested his foot on her lap, her muscles straining under the weight, working her wings across the surface to remove the most of the dirt. She teased a bit of mud out from underneath one of his claws with her teeth and slid the stone smoothly across. Once the first few claws were cleaned and sharpened she bent her head to the bottom of his foot and, using her tongue and teeth, cleaned the dirt from between his toes and under his foot. Once she was done the last claw on that foot she took her wings and massaged them between his toes to his foot and ankles, up his leg until she was stretched as high as she could reach up his leg.

(Ewww, LOL!)

Suprised at her diligence, his brows were still raised, but the rest of his expression remained straight. "Very good," he said briskly, "You are dismissed for the night, get some rest." he added, standing up on his shining talons and motioning his long, sharply barbed tail to one of the many smaller caves next to his before lumbering over to his cave.

(Goodnight!)

(I know eh? Night!)

She collected the rock and crept silently into one of the caves, curling up into a small ball on the cold and wet stone floor and shivering until she fell asleep.

A cold wet feeling on her head woke her up and she looked at the ceiling for the source. It didn't take her long to find the thin stream of freezing cold mountain water dripping onto her head. She stood in the cave, ignoring her sore muscles which were stiff from sleeping on the cold, wet floor all night. As she slunk back into the main cave she tried to find a small patch of sun to dry her wet scales off while waiting for Fear to awake. She settled down as far from the other dragons as she could and pressed up against the far wall where a tiny bit of sunlight reached the cave floor. A few birds flew by the cave entrance and her belly rumbled with hunger but she didn't dare leave the cave to try and hunt for herself. With the sun rising steadily she knew Fear and the other dragons would awake soon, whether they chose to feed her or not was their decision she concluded. She had given her life to them when she came yesterday and knew they could do whatever with her that they wanted. She didn't regret her decision, although it terrified her to no end. Her cruel parents had raised her as a slave so this was nothing new, and the Black Dragons were worthy of a servant to serve them. However Fear treated her she knew she would never leave, there was nowhere for her to go. With that thought she rested her head on her wings, still muddy from the night before, and fell asleep again.
