Thalassa watched the fight from a nearby bush, the leaves hardly hiding her.

The gryphon kicked Xene with his powerful hind legs and sent her flying about a foot in the air before he stood up and steadied himself, shaking away the dizziness left from being strangled. He lunged with a thick black beak at Xene's leg, grasping onto it, before jerking it and wearily thrashing her into the ground to his other side in attempt at knocking her out.

Another came up from behind Halia and grabbed her by her wings, bending them backward and closing the wings together before grabbing her by them and thrashing her onto Xene. Heros swooped down and landed gracefully beside the Gryphon, lashing him in the eyes with his tail like a whip, leaving the Gryphon wincing and covering his eyes before Nero crashed with her spear-like beak into him, landing him unconcious on the ground.

The other three alighted down on mighty wings, each diving one by one, raking their claws across the backs of Heros and Bedros.

Xene hissed nastily at the other gryphon and lunged herself at him, her leg bleeding heavily. She constricted him once again with her tail, this time much tighter. While he was being strangled, she tore at his front legs with her mighty claws and broke through the skin, shooting blood everywhere. She managed to whip around to his hind quarters very briefly and do the same thing, this time dislocating his knee from his whole right leg, all while squeezing as tight as she could. Only a small slit for air was left in his neck, his whole face was off color, he was queezy, and nearly fainted.

Thalassa clapped.

Something was falling from the sky, getting closer and closer.

Thalassa tipped her had back and flew up to see what it was.

Suddently, a huge male gryphon fell out of the sky on his back. He ly there, unconcious and nearly dead.

Thalassa dropped to the ground. When she had recovered herself and looked at the injured gryphon, she quickly thought about who might be able to help. "Wafer Sri! Wafer Sri!" she screeched, looking frantically around for the medical gryphon. Seeing her nowhere, she remembered that Xene had come in with some herbs. "Xene!" Thalassa shouted.

"Come over here!" she yelled, checking the unconcious gryphon to see if he was still breathing.

Frill stood just outside of the leader's den tracing a smile onto one of the gloomier looking statues with her claw.
