It's things like gryphons, unicorns (besides the awesome one in Robot Unicorn Attack) and mermaids all that hoo-ha is really dumb.

Gryphons, unicorns, and mermaids are indeed impossible, that does not automatically make them dumb, IMO. I'm not arguing, just saying. We want to have them because it's fun to be in a land of unlimited possibilities.
