"How come you never told anyone?" he asked her, quickening his pace to match hers and gawking at all of the people.

"Well, so you wouldn't give me a heart attack, I believe that's a good enough reason" Milo replied, picking up speed once more as they walked across,"So what is your assignment?"

"My assignment was to scout the forests as a human to make sure nobody went into the kingdom, but nobody was there, so my mission is, essentially, accomplished;" she said, walking down the sidewalk that led to the parking lot, with pots filled to the very brim with vibrant Petunias all around them. "The Library's straight ahead," she said, pointing to the tallest building in the plaza. She led him down the sidewalk and entered the building.

The library was small and quaint, books neatly lined on it's wooden shelves and piled on one of the little push carts. A few odd pictures hung on it's smudged white walls and a poster of a large bird pointing at a book on the back of the door. A small class room hung off of the main room and through the glass Milo could make out several sets of desks and chairs and the assorted toys.

Directly in front of them was the library's front desk and just behind it slouched a wizened old man in a computer chair. He wore an off-tan sweater and looked about as old as dinosaurs.
Squinting, he stood up and leaned on the desk, almost knocking over a jar of pencils, "May I help you?"

"Are you Arther?" Milo asked while he held the door for Sek.
"Yes..... I am"

Sekhmet listened on curiously, very slightly cocking a brow as she swept her ponytail back.

"I am Milo, I contacted you, in gri-- before" he started catching himself.
The old man stared for a moment before breaking into a bout of wheezy laughter, "Yes, yes, I know who you are. You may speak in here, believe me. Between those D and D miniature folks and the card players, no one will pay you any mind, just keep it quiet"
Milo cocked an eyebrow, "So I will live here?"
"No, of course not, I will show you after. You have an apartment just above us"
"Ah..."
"Yep! Now who is your lady friend?"
"S--um?" Milo answered looking back at her.
