Guys take it easy. You are not going to change someone's mind once it is set. This is not an argument over the existance or deadliness of the virus. Not a argument at all. This is more of a discussion over the use of civil disobedience in regards to masks. If you disagree with it that is up to you to wear a mask. I applaud you for exercising your constitutional right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. For those that dont I applaud you as well. Just be a good human being and wash your hands often and cover your mouth when you cough.

You still need to shame the other 300million citizens so the road is safe for me. If you believe in saving lives then you want to save all of them, if you are activist you only want to save selected lives.

Because we have a deadly virus going around that’ll probably kill us and everyone we know if we don’t listen. Like seriously, it’s a virus. The government just wants everyone to be safe during these times, and people complaining about having to do something everyone else chooses to do because they are decent people (unlike the entitled ones), isn’t helping.

So why is it ok to spread covid just because a face covering worsens your medical condition ? Just because you have asthma it's ok for you to spread covid? If covid is that dangerous asthmatics should not leave the house. This is only political

I have asthma. I did an outdoor workout class. I wore my mask the entire time. I didn’t die. Well, I did, but that’s from not doing anything for three months. Not from lack of oxygen from wearing a mask.

Oh but it isn't deadly. Maybe for people in bad health but they could have died from a cold or flu. If you are old or in bad health stay home. If you are sick stay home. If you are healthy then do what you want but stay away from older people or sick people or people at risk. I know plenty of people who got it and got through it quickly. They didn't die. They're fine. Face masks aren't protecting us from a deadly virus. They are doing nothing against a new sickness like a cold.

Yes. If people just wore masks and were decent people this thing would’ve ended in the US by now. It’s just all the entitled brats of this country feel they have the rights to KILL people. I can’t. I juts literally can’t. A mask costs like five bucks online. Covid-19 medical treat costs an average of 30,000 for a mild case. Do the math people. It’s really not worth it.

You are right stores are trying to protect themselves.... at least the ones lucky enough to be allowed to open by gvmnt.

I have quit wearing a mask. Sign or not. Mask goes in my pocket. If I'm close to a sick or elder older person I put it on. So far not one store has said anything.

Illinois churches were mandated closed but allowed liquor stores and weed shops open. If covid was that dangerous they would have closed those too.
If covid was that dangerous they would mandate everyone wear a mask regardless of medical conditions.
This is an election year. Everything is political

If this was just an America thing, why is it affecting other countries too?
also. I am glad that the dispensaries are Essential. My pup, between hip dysplasia and cancer...this is still giving her a quality of life. It’s not just for recreational use.

It's not going to make the virus disappear, but if wearing a simple mask could help lower the spread even somewhat, protect vulnerable people, and help to keep hospitals from being overwhelmed, I don't understand why people won't do it. It seems like the kind thing to do for our neighbors. There are dozens of rules and regulations we obey for the common good---I have to wear clothes and shoes in public, can't use certain substances, have to wear a seat belt, ect. In most places, I can't walk my dog without a leash. I can't own chickens in whatever town I want to or listen to loud music after a certain time (or violate nuisance laws), ect, I could go on and on. I wear a mask for 12+ hours at work. It seems like a minor inconvenience to wear one in stores and while doing errands in public. If it lowers the transmission, we are going to have more freedom than if things have to shut down again.

I agree with you on that for sure. I'm glad its helping . After a back injury years ago I'd say it saved my life(more to recover from the scripts than the injury). I was just highlighting what I found interesting...... they could have reverted back to medical only or adopted Ca like rules just to reduce traffic but there were no restrictions.
I hope it continues to go as good as possible for you.
