Yoiu have to be friends on FB to invite people to be neighbors. Go up to "invite". You can search just for people who are on FT. I'll PM you my name.

I have gotten the request from BYC's for a a neighbor request and I have accepted but i cant find them.... these people are already in my friends list

Can you only accept a max in a day?

I don't think so. Go to the "neighbors" tab and then you'll probably see them there.

I just saw on a forum that there's some massive controversy about not harvesting trees. What's that about?

because some people (like me) like to see some colours, the trees give you that.
