s I'm glad to hear Bailey was fine!

I know she had a calcium deposit on her heart, and a calcium blockage or something in her bowls wich were causing her kidney problems, they were saying that if it didn't correct, that she'd need surgery RIGHT after she was born.

that and there was a "scare" of her having down syndrome, through what they called "light" markers, but we wern't even worried about that part.

we're just happy that she's gonna be a healthy little brat LOL.

I will warn you, they PUSHED Amniocentesis with us, "it was a good idea to do", "we should do it" blah blah

it's just to check genetic crap LOL

so long as y'all aren't, like brother and sister LOL

but they'll probly puh it for whatever reason

obviously we didn't do it.

good luck with your little one, I know you'll do fine, the only thing I can tell you is, you've got a long, exciting road ahead, no matter what happens, love that baby and stay POSITIVE!

so yep it wont be different. Now, constantly going pee that will be
smile.png
I'm already constantly peeing now though and I don't believe it has anything to do with being pregnant other than im forcing myself to drink more water...but then again today.... im not forcing myself, im just really thirsty lol. So maybe beign thirsty is a random pregnancy thing but i don't know but im taking it because i HATE water so when i want water that's a good thing
smile.png
I've been off of pop (soda sorry for those who dont know it as pop hehe) for several weeks now so that's no problem to stay away from. I did have a cup of tea today though and some birthday cake (hubbies birthday is on tuesday) what an early birthday present huh!? hehe!!!

I honestly can't wait until i have a baby bump....im impacient, but i'll have nine months to learn pacience eh? hehe. Four weeks left huh!!?!? that's so cool!!!

Will do! And thank you for the Amniocentesis update... i dont think i will be interested in that esp if its like jabbing the baby with a needle while in my womb no way!!! LOL!

As for the calcium in the heart a friend of mine had that on her sons sonogram but soon learned that almost every baby has that calcium in their heart when they are developing and it does go away (normally)

Thank you hun! And that's a lot of sevens for sure! LOL!

Oh, I don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but there is a test called the triple screen? It tests mom's blood for signs that the baby has things like down's syndrome, spina bifida, and another one which I can't remember. DO NOT GET THIS TEST!! It is nothing but a big headache!! It has a higher false-positive rating than it does having a correct reading. I had this done with my youngest, and they told me he had a 1/86 chance of having trisomy 21. Trisomy 21 is a form of mental retardation, which also carries many physical deformities. I believe it was something like 50% of babies with this are either miscarried or still-born, and of the remaining 50%, 90% of those die before they are 2 years old. I had tried for years to get pregnant again, so I didn't want to risk the pregnancy by having an amniocentesis. So from about week 16 until he was born, I was constantly worrying about him having this condition. Of course he doesn't have it, so it was a big headache for nothing. I guess for those that actually get a positive-positive reading it's helpful, but I just think there is too much margin for error for all the stress it causes.

Will do! My mom denied getting this test for both me and my brother because her theory was "either way it's my kid so im not going ot let a test tell me how to feel" and we're both fine
smile.png
My brother, whos wife is due any day now they got that test and said that their baby would possibly be autistic.... and they wer so worried they did another test and found out he wasn't....so i deffinatly see what you're saying there. It's just added stress that isnt needed. I deffinatly wont get it
smile.png

Quote:
trisomy 21 is down syndrome. it means that instead of having 2 copies of the 21st chromosome, they have three
http://www.ds-health.com/trisomy.htm
and you can't test for autism, that usually only appears at around a year or two after the baby is born.

anyway, congrats monarc, and sleep while you still can
big_smile.png

then it wasn't autism it's been months since they were worried about that so sorry i got it wrong
smile.png

and thank you
smile.png
Lately i haven't gotten much sleep hubbies been sick so he coughs ALL NIGHT LONNNG...thinking he needs to visit the docs.. lol
