Faint Positive with EPT!

I'll have to try and get one up for you. I'm in KILLER pain right now (I'm only 26 and I already have artritis) I took some tylonol and hope it will work soon. I may have to wait for my DH to get home and help me take pic since I don't have another set of arms 10 feet long. LOL!!!

I just had to say, I am shocked that any physician would say it is alright to drink ANY alcohol during pregnancy. My doctors all told me studies have shown as little as one alcoholic drink a day can cause fetal alcohol syndrome.

To be honest, I think since my brother and his wife are the "young and stupid type" they took what their doctor said as "the word" THEY said he said a glass a day is fine, but he could have easily said not everyday. Either way they came here fo ra visit while she was pregnant and my brother was so proud telling us that he went right out after the appt. and bought his wife wine since the poor thing couldnt drink hard stuff during her pregnancy

I love my brother but they can be soooo dumb. I wanted to speak up when they said that, but my parents were there and they'd just shoot me down and have made me look stupid for saying that they shouldn't drink it.

Thing is they planned this baby, so it REALLY bothers me that they wouldn't research on their own no matter what their doctor said or what they think he said.

No those are the strips for a weved baby blanket I'm still in the prosess of making. The slings are the things I hung on the wall to take a pic of that had rings attatched to them. My docs said that with my illness the benefits out weight the small risk. stress, depression and anxiety can cause birth defects. Things like preterm labor, low birth weight, etc... You do have to be careful though cause some med have been linked to birthdefects. i know Paxil is a bad one. I take Zoloft which has a very low chance of defects and no known reported ones. I looked it all up too not just took my docs word for it. I can get more of the monkey fabric and make a sling but it's flannel and it may cost a bit more and I'm not sure how it would do in summer months. Baby might get too hot.

I saw in a small thumbnail those slings you're talking about i need ot go back and actually look at them i just automatically thought they may be it

as for anxiety yep i know that (that it itself can cause birth defects) which is why im not letting anything held in when im stressed that way I feel better and avoiding things that do stress me out

I've gone this long with out anxiety meds I'm going to try it for another few years if i can (sincei plan to BF for a while)

.

Thats good but like I said the Zoloft I take, they DID do a test of breast milk and found less than 1% makes it in to the milk. So is safe for breastfeeding. If your concerned about how stresses can affect you and your baby you can always find a good head doc and explain to them you don't want to take meds while pregnant and/or breast feeding and they could still give you some great tips on reducing stress. If you've been diagnosed with anxiety disorders it is really inmportant to keep an eye on it. Also if you are found to need any meds, as far as money goes, a lot of places offer $4 meds. My Zoloft is one of them so I onl pay $4 for them at Wal-mart. Even if your not pregnant disorders like that are vary important to treat, even if it's just with therapy. They only get worse as you age. You would be broken hearted to see how bad off my mother who is bi=polar one is after years of not being treated. She is now but it wouldn't be as bad as it is now had she been getting treatment before. I'll get those pics to you as soon as I can.
