Faint Positive with EPT!

Yeah I got the idea to make slings when I went to a specialty baby store to buy one. They were the only place where I live that had them. I ended up paying $100 for it!! I got to looking at it and I was like SHOOT I can make that! So I did! I plan on selling them for $30. Thats a $70 savings! Also, I made name placks for the girls bed room doors. If your intersted in see a pic of those I'll take a pic of them if you would like one, when ever you find out what youre having and pick a name. Also, Thank you for the complement. I work really hard making them (The girls that is)! LOL!!

that is so cool! The thing is, I was wanting a boy, but for some reason I keep thinking about a girl (like when I picture my baby it's a girl). LOL I've even had dreams of a daughter....but i've always felt i'd have a boy. It doesn't make much sense to me

and thank you for the info! I'm still staying away from tums just incase lol taking tylenol reccomended by my pharm. lady is as much as I want to take when I don't feel good (sinous crap). I never used to take tums anyhow so no point in starting now

I will just do natural things when I can to help.

As of late, i've been feeling perfectly fine other than this pain in my actual stomach (where food collects) but i've felt this pain months before I was pregnant so whatever it is has been annoying for a while just on and off

.

Just a fun FYI...Tums are actually good for you b/c they give you extra calcium needed to make baby's bones and milk. We send all of our doggie mamas with eclampsia home on tums to make sure they don't get hypocalcemic.

Heres the info i read about tums:
they rate a C for pregnancies so im with this lady when she likes to stay away from C stuffs if she can helpit

http://ask.metafilter.com/31650/Data-on-Tums-during-pregnancy

and

"Tums is infact a class C drug according to the PDR. This means that while no animal studies have shown toxicity to the fetus, it is uncertain but highly unlikely that this med will cause any effects on a human fetus. Studies cannot be conducted on whether a drug is a toxin on a human fetus for obvious moral/legal reasons. Therefore, animal studies, common sense and experience have often determined what is relatively safe to take during pregnancy. Most, if not all drugs you see on the list of OK meds are class C drugs."

Doctors also told my brothers wife that since they are big on drinking alcohol that drinking a glass of wine a day is fine. So they took that to heart went out and bought wine and drank it everyday of her pregnancy just because she could. I personally am not and will not touch any alcohol while pregnant and that's just my decision

Their baby is in the NICU right now with a hole in his heart and they can't find his one ventrical to his heart... they're having a lot of problems with him right now, and im not blaming that on the wine but just saying that they're dealing with a challening timie right now and anyone that reads this please pray for the lil cutie.

I'm a smoker and the sec I found out I was prego I put them down and wouldn't touch them no matter how stressed I was and could use one until after I quit breastfeeding. I'm not a drinker at all. I hate the stuff. The meds I take for my depression are a class C. But to be on the safe side my OBGYN and "crazy doc" kept up to date on what all was going on during my pregnancy.

I had wondered how depression and or anxiety medication was focused in on pregnant mothers. I used to be on anxiety medication but stopped taking it because of $ issues years ago, but it didn't change my anxiety. I still have it and had wondered about getting back on it. But I'm trying to just naturally keep myself un-stressed as possible during being pregnant it's hard but im tryin

No those are the strips for a weved baby blanket I'm still in the prosess of making. The slings are the things I hung on the wall to take a pic of that had rings attatched to them. My docs said that with my illness the benefits out weight the small risk. stress, depression and anxiety can cause birth defects. Things like preterm labor, low birth weight, etc... You do have to be careful though cause some med have been linked to birthdefects. i know Paxil is a bad one. I take Zoloft which has a very low chance of defects and no known reported ones. I looked it all up too not just took my docs word for it. I can get more of the monkey fabric and make a sling but it's flannel and it may cost a bit more and I'm not sure how it would do in summer months. Baby might get too hot.
