Also I just realized that I am an idiot. Like it literally just hit me as I'm sitting here at work. I don't have an area to move Kate, the F1 Blue Silver-laced pullet where she can lay her eggs and I know without a doubt they are hers. She's currently in the BBS pen because she was hatched with BBS babies and grew up with them and I find it's hard on them when they are the only new bird getting introduced to a new pen. The BBS pen is the only pen of Orpingtons laying. The Whites aren't. The Silver-laced haven't since October. The Chocolates laid a couple of pullet eggs around Thanksgiving and then quit. Do you see where I'm going with this...

I could have moved Kate into the Silver-laced pen months ago and been hatching her eggs since she'd be the only bird laying in that pen!

I am most annoyed that I could have two dozen birds on the ground by now. *deep sigh* I'll be moving birds this weekend.

My friends are also bringing over their Bobcat so I can move some dirt/level the area where the geese will be going and hopefully those pens will be completed this weekend.
