That'll work
That B is still around?
Apparently. I got home from work Monday and it was raining and I noticed one of the Red cockerels was out. I have no idea how he manged it but he was pacing the fence of his old pen trying to get in. I had to change clothes and by the time I got outside it was dark. I went out with the spotlight and couldn't find him. I figured he'd lay down by the fence. But he wasn't outside his old pen. Walked around the six pack (new pen). Not there. Went around the whole barn. Not there. Decided maybe he went out in the pasture to hide in the "brush pile". It's really orange trumpet vine or something repulsive. No luck. Walked around that a time or two and then started sweeping the pasture before I headed back towards the house. I spotted him another 100 feet away just crouched down in the grass like a dummy. When I was walking towards him she jumped the fence from the neighbor's pasture into mine and then skulked off down the fenceline to the north, when she dens in the south. Or at least that's where I've tracked her before. I'm lucky I didn't have the rifle because I probably would have tried to hit her, and my luck I'd have hit one of the neighbor's black angus.

I wish I could Buy some but then you’d know my identity and well nobody can know my identity 🦶
We all know you have a caca fetish. No biggie. Your money spends the same way as normal folks. ;)
Don't waste your effort.
Breeding him? The original bloodline was pretty much garbage. He was never aggressive until someone tried to pick up one of his hens and she screamed. Ever since then he's been a complete pest. I had some started birds from the summer, but the first night it dropped to 40 degrees from a sweaty 89 that afternoon, all the chicks even though they were fully feathered just dropped dead. I think they just went into shock from the temperature swings.

Yes breeding him. Plus you said he was bantam?

Your poor cockerel, all cuteness and no brains🤣
If she's tranqued first she'll be easier to shoot, and the worst case scenario would be that the cow might get a little extra sleepy🤷🏻‍♀️
I'm so glad I don't have anything bigger than jaguarundis and coons coming up close. The coyotes and big cats stay in the backwoods for the most part.

Who do you think I am, Muldoon? I don't have a tranq rifle? lol I'm shooting her with a freedom seed. The kind that goes straight through something that small. So I need her to be in the right place so I can lodge the bullet in a tree and not the broad side of a cow a few hundred feet behind her.

I've got five or six Red cockerels now including the gay one. I wouldn't have been sad if he'd gotten chewed. Just annoyed that she'd relearn there were birds to eat around the house. It's been months since I've had to deal with her.

Yes, he is. The smallest large fowl Splash Orpington is about half the size of her sisters. And the Chocolate imposter is half Chocolate Orpington, 1/4 Black Copper Marans, and 1/4 Cream Crested Legbar. Mom was a Mars Bar and dad was the Chocolate Orpington. I didn't realize she'd hatched a green egg under her until I noticed a few feathers on her feet. I'd hoped she'd at least lay a pale green egg, but she inherited the brown gene. And she's solid chocolate. No leakage. I want to see if their babies are more properly round and cute than the original bantams that are too thin and have weird postures. The parent stock is grotesque so It's a miracle that I got any out of them at all worth keeping.
