I bet it’s very beautiful in Montana. I’ve never been there yet but I’ve been to Wyoming and South Dakota before and loved looking at the starry skies.Except for the sky. That's all ours.

Cornish aren't rumpless.Got plenty of Cornish, but I wouldn't be able to tell those apart since they have the same comb.
I have no idea what that means. And I'm not hatching many silkies out since I got a bunch of dodgeball faces last hatch.
A is for Araucana. I had an Ameraucana egg in my hand and didn't want to accidentally hatch a Buttercup x Ameraucana mix. 2 stands for pen 2 in the barn, where the Araucana flock is. The numbers are easier to for the roommate with the TBI to remember when he gets eggs and labels them. Silver-laced Orpingtons are "white birds" and Gold-laced are "gold leafs" according to him.I'm assuming A is for Araucana, but what does 2 mean? 16 or so of the eggs had 2 and the remaining had A.
What about a dressed one?Didn't see any with cracks from the naked eye
That kept them from breaking. And a whole ton of wrapping material!
Mhmm. I have a bag as big as you are full of them.Peanuts are everywhere now![]()
That's more than one piece silly. Look at the closer. I don't trust your naked eye to see cracks. Also where on earth did you get this tape?! It's the size of my hand!
I'll get pics. Half my clutch grew up with bad beaks that looks like they had a dodgeball chucked at their mouth.have no idea what that means.
Yeah, that's true. And I'd prefer them to the mixes tooCornish aren't rumpless.
Oh my God, you're right!!That's more than one piece silly. Look at the closer. I don't trust your naked eye to see cracks.
I'm sorry but that is too funnyI'll get pics. Half my clutch grew up with bad beaks that looks like they had a dodgeball chucked at their mouth
No, I just got bad genetics from one of my hens. Cute as pugs, but obviously they have to be culledI'm sorry but that is too funnyWhy? Is that a silkie thing?
Damn. Do you think she’s the one who’s responsible for carrying the cross beak gene? No, I just got bad genetics from one of my hens. Cute as pugs, but obviously they have to be culled
It's either her or my male, David, but none of the other hens through chicks with the issue, so it's likely her. She's staying, I'm just not going to sell any eggs or hatch many myself. I'll use the broodies for other thingsDamn. Do you think she’s the one who’s responsible for carrying the cross beak gene?
