I think I ended up with over 60 from this latest hatch. I think six eggs didn't hatch?

Even if my hatch turned out poorer than I'd wanted (cause who doesn't want 100% hatchrate ), I'm still happy with my little one I got. I wish the light one had ended ipnhatch just for curiosity sake, but the one I have seems to be doing great with Cheese and it's Cornish bantam siblings so far. Here's hoping it's a little girl because of the cheeks. Curious to see if it turns black or stays something else.

Yeah, the second one popped out before it should have and made it longer than I expected, honestly. I think it just wasn't strong enough to bounce back completely. The rest were either various stages or near lockdown and didn't break into the airsac to finish their yolks. A lot of them had incredibly thick membranes and double membranes when we were looking. I'm thinking it was the shipping personally just because these three are so good so far and most of the ones that didn't hatch were with worrying airsacs.

Darn. I was hoping you'd get a better hatch than that. Hopefully, they are both girls. lol Unless you want boys.

I candled the day before yesterday and removed a lot of infertile ones. I'll have to look back to see how many. There's some wonky air cells in a few, but some of them look really good.
