fake eggs

i have chickens mostly hens for 7 months now they have not layed any eggs i think we need fake eggs to help them lay eggs what shoud we use for fake eggs?

Fake eggs just show them where to lay... they don't get them to lay. But, that said, you can buy them from TC and feed stores, or use golf or ping pong balls.

Fake eggs don't help laying. They can encourage pullets/hens to lay in a certain spot, but that's it.

What breeds do you have? How much space, what are they eating, what is the weather like and what is the ratio of cockerels to pullets? Could they be laying somewhere you can't find?

I have 1 bantam, 4 silkies, 5 Rhode island reds, 4 wellsummers, 3 Marans. All of them are hens besides my one silkie rooster! All born in February 2017! Currently on Layer in the Hot Texas Summer! Free Range most of the time, we have tried locking them in the coop for a few days to see if they are laying and no such luck yet! The have just finished molting and are getting dark red combs!

Your hens if hatched in Feb would only be 6 months old.
Maybe you should try giving ice water and lots of shady "hide" places. Mine always loved that.

Keep them cool. They should start laying soon. Do you have any pics of them?
