Hey Scrambled...get puppy a crate so she's confined while you're gone! We have an 18 month old Beagle that can't be trusted not to chew the house down either! She goes to her "place" when we leave! I keep waiting for the chewing to end too.

I have 9 blocks to go. I will get that done here shortly.

I would have gotten them done yesterday but the storm we had knocked out our power.


This morning I have been out tagging our chickens and cleaning the coop and filling dusting holes. Hubby has been in the garden and we are going to work on finishing the shed. I may send the kids to help while I finish my blocks. Yes!!!!! that sound about right.

O.K. I am not going to use the fabric I have for this swap. I din't have enough of the first and the second time around looks nothing like Fall colors. It looks more like summer.

See.....

So.....here I go.....back to the drawing board, or should I say ..... fabric store.

Oh, well, we learn from our mistakes.

Yes, I have 20 blocks done to. I guess I am going to try and put a quilt together and see if I can sell it to help pay for this machine that Scrambled talked me into getting

Acre of Blessings, those blocks would make a very pretty quilt. I agree, maybe not as Fall-like as we're looking for in this swap.
I'm sure you would have no problem selling a quilt made with them.

I'm all set to make up a sample block this morning. I'm not sure how it will look. For some reason, the Fall colors have me stumped as far as what will look good. Maybe I just can't wrap my mind around Fall as we are just getting to Summer.
