Okay, so i was wondering... is someone planning on hosting a Winter Granny Square Swap or is it too late in the year by the time these ones get sent out or too busy with Christmas stuff?

And just to be clear, i am not suggesting I host one, lol. I am way too forgetful for that. Just wondered if anyone was thinking of doing one. I would love to do a winter-colored swap this year(dec/jan anyway), maybe 6" granny's though.

I don't want to mislead you. The pics are of opposite ends of the room. They were the best pics I had to post.

I thought Rancher's pictures were from opposite ends of the room. The chandelier gives it away.

Everyone's squares are so nice.

I don't think it's too late for a Winter swap. A swap can start anytime and be called anything. I also don't think colors need be limited to season unless we want them to be.

It was rather funny. When I was don't in AL I could have let Christmas pass. Not having snow and all. There were Christmas decorations in the store but I was unaffected to buy. I think it's just me getting old.

I don't need much, but I tried to realize what I was like at my kids age. You have more needs and wants when you are young. My GK's kept saying "I want to get that" for literally every toy in every commercial.

As far as a winter swap is concerned I'm in. I don't really care about colors. I just like to keep busy. You know what they say, "Move it or lose it." I always figure if I can do one square a day I'm good. Though I usually do more than that.

I like these squares. They certainly take more work and are very creative. I never even thought of this design. Nor did I see it in my search for a 12" square. Very nice. I hope I get one cuz DW is losing patience with me yelling, "Come here I want you to see this." to which she yells, "I'm busy, what do you want?"
