I still have the plague which is wreaking havoc on my asthma, I got a flu shot this year so hoping it isn't that. Rancher I believe your box was sent regular parcel post, while others were sent priority mail, that could be the difference.

Have all boxes been sent? I have not seen one either. No big deal if it hasn't just want to be on the lookout if it has. Hope you get to feeling back to normal soon Kass!

I am sorry to say that not all boxes have been sent yet, I had every intention of sending the last group out Fri when I got home from work, but I have been so sick I haven't been able to do anything. I'm hoping to talk my husband into helping me w/ the last boxes and mailing them tomorrow (him not me).

My FIL is out of the hospital now though.

I got the flu when I was visiting my sick Grandma in CT, I also have asthma. I was pretty sure I was going to die. Please make yourself a priority!

The only thing that helped me was Tyenol and hot tea with honey. Felt so good to put the warm mug on my temples and hold it there....oh, and chicken soup! If I were there I would bring you chicken soup!!

Its been a week, and I still feel like poo, but its way better.

It's funny you should say that because I hold the mug to my ears, since I have bad sinuses and get ear aches on occasion. DW always laughs. The heat just seems to help.

My father used to wear a hat when he went to bed and when you're are bald or your hair is thinning it keeps the brain warm. I sometimes wake with headaches in the middle of the night. He was military and had some type of knit fabric cap in military green.

Kassaundra, don't be in a hurry to send mine. Get better !! That darn flu is baaaad this year. A first grader at my grandaughters school passed away from complications. Poor thing!
On a lighter note, I have been crocheting hats galore! Owls and sock monkeys! I did start my winter swap squares and I'm working on a pair of maryjane slippers for my grandbaby. I'll try to check in more often, been crazy hectic!

Kassaundra-I hope you feel better soon. We had a "cold" going around here. I have never been so sick with a cold; fever, lost 5 pounds in 4 days, passed out in the shower. Some people think it was the flu. Just rest. I'm sending merit.

Kassaundra - just take care of yourself and don't worry about the boxes. Being healthy is more important than anything.

Seriously... I have PLENTY to work on at the moment. Just finished afghan for my sister. She has cancer and a bunch of crochet friends donated squares to make this for her in her color favorite... purple. Not only am I doing the winter swap but have a hexagon and one in browns/tans that I am currently making squares for.
