I haven't even started yet. My hand has been hurting. I also think I'm coming down with something too. Sinuses feel off. It's cold and damp here. Artritis or stress or both. Ibuprofen PM tonight. Two pills. I usually take just one.

Tomorrows Sunday and that means coupons for all three stores and that means more yarn.

I had a meeting this morning (which I brought breakfast for) from 8 to 1. After that I went to Jo-Ann to get the Chocolate yarn and also found the colors I want to use for this swap. When I got home, I had such a bad headache that I went and took a nap.

I have a couple I need to complete for the last swap so I can mail them out on Monday and have a few for a Halloween swap I am in that have to be mailed out the end of next week. Still looking around for the pattern I want to use for these. There are lots of beautiful 12 inch patterns out ther.

Rancher... hope the Ibuprofen PM cures what is ailing you.

I just finished another one tonight and wanted to share a picture. The pattern for this one was kind of confusing the way it was written but i figured it out and it turned out nice. My Purple Mums have just recently started blooming so I had to make the flower purple!


and this one is by far my favorite of the ones I've finished!


Is anyone planning on doing any "regular" granny squares? I was thinking of making a few but wanted to ask first =)

I can so see the crysanthemum inspiration in the first square, really like the gradation of wavey color in the second, both are very nice.

My MIL Judy may be planning on making traditional granny squares, I'm not sure though. I know when she first agreed to do it she said she only knew how to make the traditional kind, but not sure if she is going to try something new or not. (but I really think she will go traditional)

I am part of a group on Facebook called "Friendship Afghans". They have a swap every month. Each is a different theme and anyone can participate in as many or as few as they like. They have some really great ideas. Next month is a Birthday Gem swap... everyone is using the color of their birthstone. We have ones lined up that are hexagons and triangles so not just your typical granny's.
