Thank you for posting! I'm going to check it out. I have done a spiral but it was circular which is very cool too but for the 12" I think yours would be better!!

The spiral is fairly easy if you don't mind working the colors seperately each row. You start eachcolor in the center ring but just pull the loop up when you're done until you get back around to the next row,then attach it and start your new row.

I watched a youtube video on how to make it, but this might not work for some people, I am just a very visual learner.

I am also doing a Christmas Stocking SWAP and just finished mine to send out.  It is about 19 inches long. 

Wow, this is beautiful!!! I've never tried making a stocking before, I might have to try this but I don't think it will look near as good as yours!

Those are beautiful, I am so glad someone did that square!  I printed out the pattern for it but decided on a different one afterward.      I didn't work on my squares yesterday but did manage to make a Giant ball of yarn scraps formy scrapghan, cleaned up a couple bags of scraps in the process .

For anyone that might be interested, here's a new picture of the girls, they're doing really well! I have to call the Vet today and see about having blood drawn on Butterscotch(white one) so I can have her tested for Freemartinism. I have someone interested in her but they're worried she might be a twin. Either way it's worth the $25 to know. If she is, I may just keep her... getting kinda attached to the little brat!

You know, it didn't even occur to me that I could do more than one pattern!

What a dunce I am sometimes!

I did do one different one tonight. One of the others I was doing a variety of color placement on, I didn't like when it was all done. So I figured out something I could do to it to make it better. I like it now and it kept me from having to undo that one block.

I need batteries for my camera so I have to wait to post a picture of it. Maybe I could do something similar to some of the others. We'll see!

On a roll tonight... #8 complete. This one was too small so I added the green and terra cotta before the chocolate to get it to 12 inches. My daughter really likes this one.
