I've changed my mind and am going to go with 30 squares also. 35 would be the size I made of the Summer swap, which was intended to be long enough to use as a bedspread. This one will be a regular afghan and doesn't need to be as long. So, I'm, on #29, just one and a half to go, plus some weaving in of tails. I should be able to send it in this week. Then maybe I can work on an overdue shawl, sew appliques on a hat and scarf I made last summer, and maybe even start on an afghan before the swap squares come. Am I obsessed?

I am planning on borders around each square so I'm thinking my 30 squares will fit my full size bed, w/ enough overlap to cover the sides of the mattress to the wood rail.

I just picked up the baggies for mine today. I made a couple extra to replace the ones i didn't like so much but I was pretty happy with how they turned out. Can you PM me the address?

Hoping i can get them mailed this week. I've felt like crap all weekend and can't wait to get to the Chiropractor in the morning and hopefully start feeling better after that. One of the calves got sick again so I really need to feel better so i can take care of her.

I'm going to need the address too, depending on if Jessica is about done and ready to trim hers when our Chocolate order gets here, I'll mail them asap.

We were talking in the club about doing a swap using geometric shapes: triangles, hexagons, squares, circles, etc. Would there be interest in that? It would have to be simple, and not expecting perfection from the kids. They are doing good work, but I have a lot of new kids this year and they are just loving seeing all the squares and such from the past. We would be happy to host it, and it could be worked around the edges of any other swaps going on. No strict rules, just any color, any yarn, any geometric shape?

Writer-I'd love to participate in a swap hosted by your club. Would squares be considered a geometric shape? Please include me. By the way, I went through part of my yarn stash today and pulled out things for the club. They are novelty yarns which I probably won't use. Should I send them sooner, or wait until the swap and send them in with my geometric shapes? Some are projects someone started and didn't finish and need to be taken apart. Should I take them apart before sending, or would the club like to do it themselves?

Bleenie, I'm sorry one of the calves is sick. Please take care of both of you.

Kassaundra-Today I get the baggies and could be ready to mail. Can you please pm me your address?

Sent, woo hooo finished! Can't wait to see them. Hope your calves get better and this week improves. I had a crappie week at work too. Spent last evening w/ my chickens and camera purging the bad week out of my head.

Geometrics sound fun, what kind of size were you thinking?

The story of Tucker and Bambam, a tale as old as time, a song as old as rhyme ................. unrequited love. At least not requited at the same level. Bambam (the kitten) loves Tucker (the doxy) w/ all her heart and wants to spend every second of every day at his side cuddling, grooming or just hanging out, however Tucker likes her well enough, and will do those things IF there is nothing better to do and IF the mood hits him. This leaves Bambam looking very needy and dependant, not a good look for a cat, and Tucker in control, not a good thing for womankind of any species. LOL LOL
