I'm afraid I was raised by a depression era Granny (my husband's pet title for her, she used to pretend to be offended but loved it that he gave her a special title) anyway I have been sewing them together to form another 1/2 square triangle for another project, or as a complimentary project for the blanket I will make out of the swap blocks. Leaving them whole and attatched to the block would probably work unless there are any hand quilters in the group, doubt they would like the extra layers.Thank you ladies for the compliments on my block, only 14 more to go!!!
Cathiesue welcome, I will add you and just remember when you are ready to send your blocks you PM me for my address and don't forget the SASE so I can mail blocks back to you. any questions I'm here just ask!!! I take it Sue is your middle name? Mine too![]()
I have been cutting and doing each block as I go, so I don't have miss cuts, I hate miss cuts, Question for you ladies?
what do you do with the geese cliping the little triangle that you end up with or do you not cut to a 1/4" seam and just leave it? Guess it is too small to keep I just throw it away, but me being me it seems like a waste,
