I know it's not funny but I have to be honest your icons made me laugh.

Here is the link for the new swap. Only 12 spaces for this one. Well 11 to go

I have a question for you how come you limit the number of participants to the number of blocks? No matter how many people join if everyone sends in 12 blocks everyone would get back 12 blocks, just not one from each person if more signed up, just wondering.

Hi,
We have 15 days to go. I would like to have the blocks and sort and ship by Friday the 25th. If anyone needs more time please let me know. I don't know where Sept went but it went fast. I lost a week some where and am still trying to find it.

I know what you mean. I'm hoping to get mine done by Friday. I have gone back to work for my DH and it cuts my time down. But I left early to work on my blocks. I just wanted to let you know I'm still here. Have a great day everyone.

I don't have a good answer, just the way past swaps were done. We can leave the Jan swap open with no limit. So if we have 13 people send 12 blocks how would that work?

I was just curious whatever works for you and the group I'm fine with, it was just something I have wondered for a while and just never got around to asking.

Will be helping someone out Friday so I should be able to send blocks on time. Hope everyone is able to squeeze in the blocks okay with all their fall chores calling:) There's nothing like cool nights to remind us of the list.....

I know how this works,

I've done other swaps. Basically the limitation is how much the swap coordinator wants to handle. If you ask for 12 blocks from each swapper and get at least 12 to participate then everyone gets one of each block sent.
You divide the first set into 12 piles. Then sort, like dealing cards, each set block by block onto the piles. 12 sets sent. 12 blocks to resend to 12 people. simple.
So, if you have 17 swappers each sending 12 blocks it's much the same. Each swapper will get back 12 blocks but not every set will have the same blocks!
Divide the first set of 12 plus 5 from another set into piles. Then continuing with the remaining 7 blocks deal them out to the sets starting with the first one in the first set of blocks put down. No repeats in a set this way.
At the end you have 17 stacks each with 12 blocks.
I'm not sure i did a very good job explaining but that's how it works.
