it must be the little legs. I can't think of something else. Although OEGB don't have such short legs, and serama *shouldn't* have teeny legs either. Japanese bantams on the other hand have teeny tiny legs, but you don't hear about them much

Yeah, this hatchery has the Japanese, and I was tempted since they aren't as common, but I prefer longer legs!

I think the short legs are very comical, but I totally get why you wouldn't want them. Would you ever go for modern games?

Amazing what pipping eggs will do for your mood! I've been happy all morning so far! A little ray of sunshine on this gloomy, cloudy day.

7 pipped so far, but haven't progressed past that. Which is fine, I know it can take a bit of time. Technically, it's not day 21 until tonight anyhow. But this is the first time I've had eggs hatching as planned! I really like this incubator, and may order more with the proceeds of the sales of the chicks.

Best part is that one of the eggs I though was a quitter is one of the pipped ones! WOO!

Ducks are enjoying the mud. Rained overnight. Not good for the arthritis though. My hands hurt. >.<
