Falling Down Heights, my daily life

Not having my bunnies here is killing me. At least they're being taken care of, and even bred to my specifications.

Here's the latest litter:

The one on top (lilac) looks bigger because she decided to bolt and stretched out! lol!

I have another doe due in three weeks. And one that was just bred yesterday so don't know yet if she took.

It's cold and wet today, but starting Saturday we may be getting a chance at the S-word every overnight for a week.

They are sweet ♥️

I saw that forecast - and refuse it.

There will be no s words or f words bandied about here. There will be no snow this winter.

How cold a room can they be in at like what age? I want to eventually move mine downstairs to a room that we call the cold room lol it has no heat running to it unless I stick a space heater in there. It’s a little warmer than a garage because it’s a side room attached to my house and it’s a finished room. The walls have drywall and paint the floor is concrete though and there’s a lot of windows so it’s I use half the room for a ducky hospital room. I know bunnies don’t do good in heat, but how about cold? It depends on their ages I guess?

Once they're furred out, they can go without heat easily. I house mine outside during our winters! And my friend even breeds them in the dead of winter.

Main thing is no draft / good air circulation.

That room should be perfect for them!

Ok great so even a 3 month old bunny with no other bunny to cuddle with will be fine down to like 40 degrees?
I would like to move them down there before Thanksgiving, so my daughter‘s dogs don’t harass them when she visits.

Yup!

I have three month olds out there right now. And it's going down to freezing at night. Even a single bun will do fine. :)
