Hello all,

I was just reading a article on why to join BYC. (I've been a member for almost a year!) Well, it said that BYC is a family friendly place. Really? I see lots of swearing, and a few other things too that I don't think should be on here.
What can we do to keep this a better - clean, family friendly, - place?

Thanks much,
- Clucky

To many swear words on the forum. No-one can report them all....
I'm not sure what you consider swear words but I can tell you I haven't seen a swear word in gosh knows how long.

Like mentioned above.
If you see something that breaks the rules it doesn't take a second to click the report button.

How can you tell? I never report very much.....

I'm confused.

You started this thread because you said YOU see swear words.

If YOU are seeing them why are you not reporting them?

The amount of time it takes you to see a word is the same amount of the me it takes to click report.

Why complain if you aren't going to help remove these words by clicking report?

We do our best to make sure that BYC is family friendly. That said, it is impossible for us to read every single post. So if you see something that you don't think is family friendly, please report it, and a member of our team will handle it. Please don't reply to or quote any posts that you think may be in violation of the rules. Thanks!

To give a bit more clarification on what "Family Friendly" means.

For all intents and purposes, if you see or hear it in a PG movie, we'll allow most of it here.

So, basically, you can report anything you want but it should also be something you wouldn't hear / see in a PG rated movie.
