Mealworms are not that hard to raise, maybe your daughter would enjoy doing something like that? Earth worms are another favorite treat our whole flock loves to eat.

I have 11 hens and a roo with about 3 different cliques. They all roost together at night and share the same run but separate out in 3 groups.
