oh and furthermore, people who enforce non-existant or their own interpretation of the rules dont count on people contesting - they figure folks are intimidated enough to just belly up. i hope they pursue this to do what is ultimately in the best interest of the animal while not ignoring the publics safety (which with no history of founded complaints, or incidents is a questionable argument).

Well if kids as in human children are involve please be careful. If the health inspector has declared it unsafe, the next step is calling social services for a home inspection. If they feel it is a health hazard they can take said kids until a judge decides it is safe to go back. We were foster parents for 10 years and it's not hard to remove kids. You don't want to get stuck in that nightmare. Sometimes you have to choose your fights carefully.

Matter of fact Child Services were so unimpressed by the Health Insppector that they wouldnt leave me and the child alone with her. They stayed for the entire time that woman ( loosley used) was here..
Health Inspector did come with an Administrative warrrent, ( basically a search warrent but has to show more just cause, she did, she lied to obtain it and police are investigating).
Thats the only reason she was even allowed on my property let alone in my house.
The child was never in any danger from the goat, she was in more danger of the Health Inspector removing her from the home, main reason DCYS wouldnt leave.

That's good to hear. I didn't think the child was in any danger. As i said we were foster parents and we saw a lot of children removed from homes. Some were very well justified. Others were iffy and caused by relatives or exes and that wanted some kind of vengeance. We took care of those children while their parents went through the system and it was heartbreaking at times. Other times it was heartbreaking what people did to their kids. I'm just saying be careful. They have the bigger stick.
