was this hen’s wheaten parent homozygous for wheaten or split? I’ve been interested in wheaten crele birds, but it was my understanding they wouldn’t have this much barring... regardless I like her colors

The hen is e+/E^Wh

The Rooster is E^Wh/e^b, cockerel looks to be e+/E^Wh. They do have one copy of the Columbian gene.
