Well if you have a dog, it will protect them. It is not likely they will fly right into the dogs either over the fence.

I would love to get a guardian dog, but just for the chickens, I don’t see why. I don’t have goats or anything else to protect.

A dog that would have to be trained, a good breed to be able to defend itself, and one that is trustworthy enough to leave with chickens.

Or your dog would chase them. She has a dog, also. It takes a lot of training to have a good LSG.

I'm glad I don't have a credit card because if i did there would be nothing stopping me from ordering 3 toulouse geese and naming them Juice, Spruce, and Moose then training them to attack my enemies

You can get a special work dog, and have it pre trained, like you bought one that is already trained.

That would be very expensive. And I doubt people sell pre trained dogs to protect chickens. Possibly for goats or sheep, but not poultry.
