Cleopatra, the peahen.

Mark Anthony, the peacock. (yes that is food for the peacocks, not random dog food or something lol)

One of the older chickens. I'm not sure on breed-going to make a seperate thread on that.

Ditto for this one, but she's gorgeous!

A poor GL wyandotte. She's one of the ones in the same group as Coco. Does not appreciate cuddles as much as Coco does.

Weird imported bush thing. Apparently they have little white flowers all over them in the spring.

Oreo the sheepie.
Ooh! The peacocks are gorgeous! The 3 older hens are probably all mixes. Gorgeous mixes, at that. The speckled one is stunning. I love her. None of them look like breeds though. I would guess mixed with a legbar or a Polish. The speckled one has some major spurs!!! I love that bush.
Oreo is so cute. I love sheep. I like to just bury my hands in their wool.

hOLY CRAP I hadn't even noticed her spurs. Damn. I don't think that they're mixes because I"m pretty sure that they're from a hatchery-four out of the original six old ones are still alive. One is a brown leghorn, and I'm not sure which other is an old one. Oreo is very friendly. The past few times I've been there, they've been all wet, so not much opportunity to hand bury, sadly.

Lol! It's ok. They'll be very easy to file down. Some hens get really long spurs, it's so odd. I have no idea if they're from a hatchery. Those are some wild colors/patterns. I don't know what the black one would be.
Lol! I bet. That would be gross.
@MysteryChicken what do you think on the 2 hens?

She does not want me to touch her, let alone file down her spurs  I think it'll be ok. I agree-they're the only two I can't place a breed on, and I like to think that I'm pretty good with breeds!

The Speckled one looks like an Icelandic Chicken. It's a Landrace "breed".

Similar to an EE, but don't lay random colored eggs.

They're super hardy in both cold, & hot climates, & have the largest amount of genetic diversity then other chickens.

The black one might be also, but not sure, cuz they can look different, but most often have a crest.
