I'm partial to white, splash, and blue. But really anything is better than buff.

Buff is just gold/red with the diluter gene. Blue gene is a diluter mutation of black.

And yes, same (or close to the same) gorgeous pattern, just not quite as perfect of a bird!

Those are high on my list. However, you can’t get great quality ones from hatcheries! I do trust Cackle though, so perhaps they will have some.

Why do you think Buff is gross? I'm using Buff Orpingtons for the Wheaten Genes for my Wheaten Crele Orpington project.
