Although the main reason I stick to a cartoony style is (well at least what I like to tell myself) is because none of the programs I use have a blend tool so it's hard to get good shadows and shading without spending hours doing each pixel separately. I absolutely LOVE your lion!

That makes sense. I’m doing one dot at a time for the chicken so maybe that’s why it takes so long lol

It was really cool, but they all died. I have come to the conclusion that it's impossible to do in a home setting. Bacteria got in all of them at some point, even though I sterilized everything and wore gloves and all of that. It was sad seeing them die.
Especially because most of them made it to day 20 and they were fully formed.
I have millions of pics of all stages of you want to see any specific ones.

I feel dumb. I’ve been getting two blue eggs a day for a week and didn’t notice. SHES BEEN LAYING ALL THIS TIME!

See these eggs? Two days worth. Only two days. What does this mean? Well, if there are 7 brown eggs and it’s been 2 days, then my 3 brown egg layers could only have made 6 eggs in total. Who’s the 7th egg from? Ladies and gentlemen, I suspect the layer to be the one and only Infigo, who suddenly had massive comb growth, and just squatted for me

(She’s blinking. Sorry. I was trying to show her comb and wattle)

So if this is two days worth of eggs, and there are 4 blue eggs that can only mean 1 thing. OPAL IS DEFINITELY LAYING!
