I have some larger Sea Monkeys swimming around now. I counted 8, or 9 so far.

Yesterday me, & my sister bedded the coops up with more straw to keep the birds warmer.

That's good! Last night I put hay down in my coop.

Hmmm. I could try. I've only tried pushing it open. My chickens free range every day and the LGD keeps most predators under control so I haven't been super worried about it.
